How Bright Is Your Star?

Six quotients. One honest question underneath all of them: how brightly are you burning right now?

Nothing you write here is sent anywhere or saved on a server. It lives in this browser tab only, until you download it. No one else will ever see it.

How Bright Is Your Star?
Self-Reflection
Hi,
A self-evaluation, not a personality test

Not grand thoughts.
Distinct utility.

Six quotients make up a whole life — IQ, EQ, AQ, PQ, MQ, and HQ at the centre, holding the rest together. This isn't about scoring well, and it isn't a quiz that sorts you into a type. It's a mirror you hold up to yourself, on your own terms, about where you're genuinely strong, where you've been quietly avoiding something, and what one small direction you're willing to lean into next.

Why this exists

Most people over-index on one measure of a good life and quietly neglect the rest. Some chase intellect and call it success; some chase money and call it security; some chase passion and burn through everything else to feed it. Each of those, taken far enough on its own, tends to curdle into something self-serving — brilliance without warmth, wealth without purpose, drive without rest. The Six Qs Star exists to put all six dimensions on the same table at once, with one of them — Humanity Quotient, HQ — sitting at the centre as the thing that keeps the other five honest.

This app is not the book version of that idea. A book, once written, sits still — it can't ask you a follow-up question, it can't notice that your answer to one Q quietly contradicts your answer to another, and it goes stale the moment your life changes and the book doesn't. What you're using here is meant to stay alive: it asks, it listens to what you actually write, and it reflects something back that's specific to you, not a paragraph that was written for everyone.

None of that works, though, without your honesty. There's no test to pass and no one grading the answers — the only person this serves is you, and only to the extent you're willing to tell yourself the truth while you're doing it.

How this works

1. Sit with each Q

What it is, where it's starved, where it tips into excess — then a few questions meant to sit with, not answer quickly.

2. Rate it honestly

Describe a real recent moment. The AI proposes a score with its reasoning — you decide if it's right.

3. Watch your star

Your six scores shape a star that glows brighter the more balanced — and HQ-anchored — it is.

4. Go deeper, later

"Power Up Your Qs" walks each one through a Socratic working-through, for whenever you want to go further than reflection alone.

One thing to know

This app keeps no record of you. There's no login, no account, no trajectory saved anywhere but this browser tab. When you're done — or whenever you like — download a PDF dated and named to you: your star, your questions, your answers, and the AI's reflections. That file is yours to keep and to compare against, whenever you come back to do this again.

There's no import, and nothing carries over automatically between visits. If you want to see how you've changed, keep your downloaded copies and place them side by side yourself — the trajectory is something only you can piece together, the same way you're the only one who can piece together what your answers actually mean.

The Six Qs

Work through them in any order. Nothing here is timed or graded.

Be honest with yourself. No one else reads this unless you choose to share your downloaded copy. The more detail and truth you bring to each answer, the more real and useful the reflection you get back — vague or flattering answers just produce a vague, flattering review that tells you nothing.

Qs Together

The six Qs rarely act alone. Here's how three common combinations actually interact — and what tends to go wrong when one leg of the three is missing.

Power Up Your Qs

Where reflection turns into direction. A focused, Socratic pass through each Q — Want, Doing, Evaluate, Strategy — for building real momentum, not just understanding where you stand.

Specific beats general, every time. "I want to be better with money" gives you nothing to work with. "I avoided opening my bank statement for three weeks in March" gives you something real. Write toward the specific.

Your Star

The ring marks a perfect 10 on every spoke — your reference for how much further each Q can grow. Brightness is the sum of all six scores, HQ included, and HQ now colours and animates the whole star, not just its own centre.

Total brightness0 / 60

Watch what HQ does: a low score leaves the whole star muted and still; a high score makes every spoke more vivid and gives it a slow, living pulse. These sliders and your answers in "The Six Qs" stay in sync — rate yourself there, or adjust here directly.
